Biography

Seamus is a 26 year old composer, producer and arranger, also formerly employed as deputy organist and choirmaster at Crown Court Church, Covent Garden, with a portfolio spanning from classical music to electronic arrangements.

Seamus' most recent work was an awareness piece for suicide prevention called "116 123". Seamus has also collaboration with Commonwealth Resounds and The Commonwealth Blue Charter, advocating positive actionin the fight again st the effects of climate change and pollution on our oceans worldwide. The video was screened at the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in Kigali, Rwanda and at the UN Ocean Conference in Lisbon, and noted for its creativity and impact.
As a film composer Seamus has worked on projects such as the HBO sizzler for "Letters from London", a documentary series directed by Ahmed Jamal, and "The Cathar", an independent short film directed by Liam Heath. Seamus has also recently worked with Tango Alakulo on arrangements of Finnish Tangos for the Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra and renowned singer Matti Salminen, which were performed in January at the Musiikkitalo in Helsinki.Seamus recently graduated in Electronic Music BMus at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, scoring a distinction in his final, where he explored his interest in electronics, sound recording and processing, and developing his own compositions and visuals.
As a child, Seamus showed promise as a classical performer, andwas awarded a full scholarship to attend the Purcell School of Music in Hertfordshire - and later St Mary's Music School, where he studied the keyboard and composition for 8 years, honing his craft as an classical orchestrator, arranger, and composer. In 2017, he embarked on a Physics degree at the University of St Andrews for 2 years, where he was included on the Dean's List for Academic Excellence. As a senior organ scholar at St Andrews, Seamus performed at worldclass venues around the UK and abroad, such La Madaleine in Paris, Cathédrale Saint-Sauveur, d'Aix-en-Provence, and York Minster Cathedral among others, as well as composing music for Choir & Organ Magazine.
